Questions, answers and scorecards live in your own browser. There is no table on our side that holds them, and we do not log the text of what you are asked or what we suggest. The audio does reach our server and the AI services that transcribe it and write the answer, because that is the only way this works. That includes your own spoken answers when you let the scorecard grade them: their text stays in your browser and the audio is not kept. A screen question works only when you press the key: one image of your screen is sent to read the question and is not kept.

Where the live features can hear the interviewer. PlacedAI listens through your browser's screen share, so what it can hear depends on your system. On Windows and ChromeOS, Chrome and Edge pass the sound of your whole screen. On macOS you need Chrome 141 or newer and macOS 14.2 or newer for that. On Linux, and on older Macs, only a browser tab can be shared with sound, so the interview itself has to be running in a Chrome tab rather than in the Zoom or Teams desktop app.
