PlacedAI for Windows
The browser version works everywhere. The desktop app does the one thing a browser cannot: it stays invisible when the interviewer asks you to share your entire screen, and it hears them without any sharing prompt at all.
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- For the browser version: desktop Chrome or Edge
- An internet connection, because the AI runs on our servers
- The same account you use in the browser
On first launch
- Windows may warn about an unknown publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Our signing certificate is on the way.
- Sign in once; the app opens your overlay and dashboard.
- Ctrl+Shift+H hides the overlay, Ctrl+Space sends your screen to the AI.
macOS is not supported yet - both invisibility and system audio work there, we simply have not built it. iPhone and iPad cannot run a desktop overlay at all; on those, and in Firefox or Safari, the browser version still handles practice, CV and application tools, but live interview help needs desktop Chrome or Edge.
